The Abdullah Story | Eulogy
| Frozen Semen |
Offspring
We have been very fortunate to own a stallion
that competed at the highest level in his sport. However we realized that
his reputation as a sire depended on the success of his offspring. As a
result, we have focused the program at Williamsburg Farm on the development
of young horses. Through our training facility, Chestnut Ridge, we provide
services from the initial backing thru showing of the most promising horses
at the top shows in the east. We also offer our services as a consultant to
owners and agents in sales.
Many of the Abdullah offspring that have shown
at the highest level of their sport as hunters or jumpers succeeded in some
way as a result of our promotional efforts.
- Airborn
Monticello is out of a Hannoverian mare. Bred in Florida
and sold by us to his present owner in Mexico City. This talented gray
stallion spent the winter in Florida
with us at the beginning of his jumping career. He went on to win the
bronze medal at the 1992 Pan Am Games for Mexico. Airborn is now in France and has shown successfully in
Grand Prox jumpers and several times a Nations Cup competitor for France.
- Abracadabra
is out of a TB mare in Anchorage,
Alaska owned by Carol
Caress. Abracadabra came to Williamsburg Farm to be trained and
started as a jumper. He was a brilliant dressage horse as well and won
many awards at the lower levels. His jumping talent was obvious from
the start. He competed successfully at the international jumper
futurity and eventually went to the barn of noted trainer Geo Morris
where he became a Grand Prox show jumping winner and international
competitor representing the USET on many occasions.
- Special Memories
is an ATA approved stallion out of the dam of Gold Medalist Touch
of Class. He was shown successfully eventing. Winner of IJF
classes and this year shown by Lynn
Little has started competing in Major Grand Prix classes. He has had
many high placings from the Hampton Classic to Devon.
With his power and talent, he will soon rise to the top of his sport.
In 1996 he contributed to France's Silver Medal
performance at the World Equestrian Games. In 1998, ridden by Emily
Williams, he was AHSA Horse of the Year in Junior Jumpers.
- Gabriel was 2
times the Horse of the Year as a hunter. He was taken by us to Florida during
his first year of competition and subsequently sold to a top hunter
barn who developed his talent to become one of the most consistent
hunters of his time. He won titles from Green to Regular, Conformation
and Junior Hunters in a career that lasted 12 years at the top.
- Adulation was
a winner of the IJF but went on to be the AHSA Horse of the Year as an
Amateur Hunter.

Finals 1996. Bred, raised, and trained at Williamsburg Farm.
