Abdullah is being honored in the Show Jumping Hall of Fame
Abdullah is being honored on April 4, 2009 at the American Invitational Grand Prix in Tampa, Florida by being inducted into the Show Jumping Hall of Fame. Presently there are 16 horses and 45 people who are members of this elite group. Abdullah will join 6 horses from the current era of the sport:
Touch of Class Idle Dice
Calypso Jet Run
Gem Twist For the Moment

Abdullah’s career highlights include:
1984 Olympic Team Gold and Individual Silver Medals
1985 World Cup Show Jumping Winner
1986 World Championships Team Gold and Individual Silver Medals

At the Induction Ceremony, Sue Williams, Abdullah’s owner will be accompanied by his breeder, Gerhard Schickedanz, his rider Conrad Homfeld and Nancy Divita who devoted her time to his care in his later years.
The Show Jumping Hall of Fame is being relocated in 2009 from its present location in Tampa, Florida to a permanent facility at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.

About Williamsburg Farm
Williamsburg Farm is world reknown for their Olympic Show Jumping Stallion Abdullah. Excellent quality frozen semen from Abdullah is now available from Select Breeders Service in North America and Europe. As a sire he has produced International World Cup and World Championship Jumpers and 6 AMSA Horse of the Year Winners.

Owners Terry and Sue Williams have been producing sport horses for over 30 years. The program at Williamsburg Farm specializes in stallion training, handling, and promotion. The farm's laboratory provides a full range of breeding services.

Chestnut Ridge is the nearby Training and Horse Show facility where young sale horses are showcased and schooled in the disciplines of dressage, eventing, and show jumping.

Roulette - 2001 16.2 hand bay gelding by Beauregard (DWB) out of Rachael by Abdullah. Roulette is well started under saddle and is a delightful riding horse. He has 3 correct gaits that cover ground effortlessly for such a substantial individual. Roulette has a wonderful character, willing to please and will be a wonderful project for a rider wishing to develop their own performance sport horse.

Monticello - 2001 15.3 hand bright chestnut Anglo-Trakehner gelding by Abdullah out of IHF winning TB mare. This athletic youngster has show experience in both dressage and jumpers winning both categories. Monticello is wonderfully sensitive to the aids and is very responsive to the rider. He tries very hard to please. He has excellent manners, no vices and is delightful to work with. Monticello will be perfect companion for the smaller competitor. He could be the next “Tobasco” 2007 USEF Horse of the Year by Abdullah!

Bridgette - 2001 15.3 hand bay mare by Beauregard out of Banter by Abdullah. Banter was Champion of the GVBA Breed Show as a yearling – 3yo. This mare is very attractive and talented. Bridgette is sensitive to the aids and would be suitable for an ambitious smaller rider.

Stanford - 2003 16.1 h dark bay Anglo-Trakehner gelding by Rudiger out of our best TB broodmare Sandra Lee. Stanford has many successful performance siblings and has all the talent to follow in their footsteps. He is currently in training and has extraordinary gaits and a excellent disposition. He could excel as a dressage/event/hunter.
